All about filing deadlines for 2019 income tax returns

Given the current COVID crisis, it seems useful to provide you with a quick recap of the 2019 tax return deadlines granted by the French government only for Tax return submitted by Chartered accountant and according to the taxpayers’ tax situation.

Below is an overview of the deadlines applicable to date depending on each situation:

Paper declarations (first-time filer and taxpayer who cannot submit by internet or EDI): filing Deadlines until 12/06/2020 regardless of the place of residency;

Dematerialized Declarations (“Internet” or via “EDI” teletransmission):

– You are majority managers according to article 62 of the CGI, filing deadline postponed to June 30, 2020;

– You are liable for real estate Wealth tax, filing deadline postponed to June 30, 2020;

– You receive BIC, BNC, BA or Rental income, filing deadline postponed to June 30, 2020;

All other tax returns that do not fall under the above situations and therefore do not benefit from any delay must submit no later than June 11 at 11:59 p.m.We draw your attention that Non-residents’ clients cannot submit via “EDI” teletransmission. Consequently, that do not fall under the above situations and therefore do not benefit from any delay must submit no later than June 11 at 11:59 p.m via the internet or June 12, 2020 by paper.
